  Monmouth University Men's Basketball 2005-6
   The Hawks opened their campaign on the West Coast and in the Great
   Alaska Shootout.  They ended it in style at the Wachovia Center in Phila.
   in the NCAA Tourn..  Along the way, they beat Southern Illinois...nearly
   upset South Carolina ( winner of the NIT )...won the NEC Tourn...obtained
   their 3rd NCAA bid in 6 years...collected their 1st NCAA Tourn. win...and
   gave top seeded, Villanova, all they could handle in the Minneapolis region.
