   Monmouth University Football 2004
    The Hawks in their Home Opener knocked off LaSalle 34-10 before a
    packed house in West Long Branch, September 11th. The Hawks finished
    the season with a record of 10 & 1 and 6 & 1 in the NEC.  For the 2nd
    year in a row, they are co-champions of the conference and ranked # 1
    in the Div. I-AA Sports Mid-Major Top 10 Poll.
